Life of Pi by Yann Martel

Wow, what a beautifully descriptive story of survival and faith. I picked this book up years ago long before they announced there was going to be a movie. I started it but never finished. I don’t know why or how I didn’t finish because it surely is a captivating story. Completely different than what I thought or remembered it to be when I first began reading it years ago.

I bought a vividly illustrated copy of the book as a good-bye gift for a girl that I tutored when I lived in Boston. I’ve never seen that edition anywhere else. Anyway, she was really into tigers and big cats so I thought she might like this book, or at least enjoy the pictures. She emailed me last month to tell me that she saw the movie and she’s going to start reading the book now. I wonder if she’s finished it yet.

  1. Cool blog! Is your theme custom made or did you download it from somewhere?
A design like yours with a few simple tweeks would really make my blog stand out.
Please let me know where you got your design. Kudos
